Summary: One of the best houses and most friendly hosts we have ever had and we really travel a lot. We had a warm and cordial welcome with local products as a gift. The fire wood was free as well. The valley where the mill is situated is really beautiful. The historical house is well equiped, very clean and comfortable. The owners are very courteous, friendly and generous. We say thank you for this wonderful holidays!

Summary: We have just returned from a week at this lovely property. Set in a fabulous area, away from the hustle and bustle of a town or busy road, it was lovely to sit outside, listening to the stream running beside the property watching the wildlife all around. The house has everything you need, including WIFI however, the owners live next door should you require anything extra or should you incur any issues. The house is only a 5 minute drive away from Coutances with its restaurants, shops and magnificent cathedral. If you are looking to explore Normandy, the property is well situated being about an hour from Mont St. Michel (don't recommend unless you like crowds), an hour from the landing beaches. Driving in France being so easy and relaxed compared to the UK it was easy to get around. We would thoroughly recommend the house and the only disappointment was having to leave. Many thanks to Mr et Mme Julienne for a great stay.

Summary: Our first stop in France for two weeks was this lovely gite! It was perfectly nestled in the countryside of France. It was everything that we needed and wanted. The house was immaculate, the owners lovely and the accommodations wonderful! The kitchen was furnished with everything you could possibly need. There was a beautiful waterfall right by the house, the flowers were in bloom, the donkeys so cute! Also, we were 5 minutes from the city of Coutance. Just a beautiful town that had shopping, a great butcher and pastry shop. The French market there was great as well! We bought fresh fish and cheese, not to mention the jam. We look forward to staying here again!
